Hilltop-Trail Lakes Project

Hilltop-Trail Lakes is a new Community Forest project that seeks to protect ecologically rich aquatic habitats and public access. This 120-acre project would protect the only non-USFS land on both of the lakes, and is located in close proximity to the Sylvania Wilderness Area. Protecting this private inholding in Forest Service lands will conserve the high quality and unique bog and bird habitat features of this landscape.
