Conservation in the Headwaters Region: the need and the action

Join conservationist Joe Hovel at the Land O Lakes Public Library at 1PM on Thursday Sept. 7.

Joe will give an overview of his side career in land conservation and work with Northwood Alliance, with special focus on the Land O Lakes area projects. Area projects include the new Headwaters Cedar Community Forest, and NWA is seeking public feedback in developing the Community Forest Management Plan.

Questions and comments on the Upper Wisconsin River Legacy Forest and the Wildcat Falls Community Forest will be most welcome as well.
